Day 1: Paris – Avignon

7.30 am Meet at the Gare de Lyon to take 7.54 am TGV to Avignon.
10.31 am Arrival Avignon station with bus connection to Avignon town.

Check in at hotel reception and distribution of tour tickets.


“Discovery” fare covers the following sites: The Palais des Papes with audio guide. The palace is a symbol of the Christian church’s influence in the West during the XIVth century.
The Pont d’Avignon with audio guide.
45 min. cruise on the Rhône river.

Day 2: St Rémy de Provence - Les Baux de Provence - Avignon - Paris

Breakfast at hotel.
Around 9 am pick-up for trip to St Rémy, Les Baux, Pont du Gard.
Departure for Saint Rémy de Provence and stopover at Les Antiques (triumphal arch and mausoleum)
located in an olive grove frequently painted by Van Gogh.
You will visit les Baux de Provence, a charming village perched on a rocky spur 245 metres above sea level as well as the famous Pont du Gard bridge built in the 1st century. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and breathtakingly well-preserved.
Free time to browse the St Rémy market on Wednesdays and lunch.
Return to hotel around 1.45 pm (Wednesdays). (Programmes subject to change according to day of the week)
Free afternoon for shopping.
Around 5.30pm bus from Avignon town for Avignon TGV.
TGV departure 7.08 pm for Paris, arrival 10.01 pm.
